Ted Mastakouris, CPA, JD, MST, is the Principal and Managing Shareholder of Mastakouris & Company CPA's, P.C. He began his career in 1989 and has over 30 years of extensive experience in tax, accounting, estate planning, wills and trusts, federal/state tax audits, real estate and business law. Ted's insight and creativity allows him to provide expert business and tax advice to a broad range of industries, including real estate, retail sectors, hospitality, restaurants, start ups.
Ted counsels and represents high net worth individuals and closely held entities. Ted is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPAs, NYS Bar Association. Ted is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, Federal and State Courts.
Ted holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Queens College, CUNY, a Masters Degree in Taxation from Long Island University C.W. Post School of Accountancy, and a Juris Doctor Degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Ted is licensed as a CPA and an Attorney in the State of New York.
